Amish do not want to be photographed. Out of respect for their traditions, we do not have pictures of the craftsmen who make the furniture, their children who may run barefoot nearby, or their wives who make quilts, jams and jellies, and hang the laundry out on the porch to dry. We cannot set up a photo studio in their display room with a plywood floor, and there is no electricity, so our photos of these products cannot be professional. We are guests in another culture with another language when we make our purchases. What we can do is make the link between you and these capable makers of American furniture. We can bring you a saddle stool, rocking chair or glider where you can sit and experience some of the peace of just living, breathing and letting go of worries.
We specialize in stools, rocking chairs, and gliders. Each product is made individually, so we can meet your needs if you request a particular wood color or style of stool or chair.
