OAK, HICKORY, CHERRY, MAPLE
Use drop down boxes for each product to make selections.
Most Amish furniture is made with white oak, a very hard wood, light in color. For extra durability of table surfaces, quartersawn oak is available.
Hickory, an even harder wood, is used with bark still on to make chair legs and backs.
Hickory is also cut and glued together to make beautiful table tops (depicted above) and chair seats.
Cherry, also a hard wood, has a darker red-brown color.
Brown maple is a naturally carmel colored or brown wood.
Walnut is a dark brown hardwood.

Selecting the Width

Amish chair seats are available in two sizes--18" and 21". Seats are not flat but curve because our bodies curve. Rocking chairs and gliders made with bent wood are designed to fit natural curves of the human body.

Selecting the Wood Finish
Use the drop down option for wood finish to make your selection. The two most popular choices are "oak finish" or "medium." You have nine choices.

Selecting Height

Use the drop down box on product to select height for stools.
The seats on standard stools are 24' while high stools are 30".

Selecting a Swivel

Use drop down option on product to make selection.
The swivel option is available on several different styles of stools and also on gliders. In order to accomodate the 360 degree turning capability, stools with swivel tops are more narrow where the legs attach than stools without swivels.
